Where do photo sessions take place?

All sessions take place in a private studio in Tujunga (Los Angeles), CA 91042

Do you give digital files?

Each image you purchase comes with a professional print and its digital file.

How Much Does It Cost?

Katie's studio offers various portrait experiences.. On average, clients invest $800 or more on their fine art portrait experience and heirloom display products.

Do you have any training to work with newborns?

Yes. Katie is newborn safety trained by the American Association of Newborn Photography Safety She completed newborn care specialist training Katie was a special education teacher for twenty years and uses many of the same skills in photographing newborns. Finally, Katie is certified in newborn CPR and first aid by the American Red Cross.

Are you current on all vaccinations?

Yes. All flu shots and recommended vaccinations are current.

Do we need to bring anything?

Katie has all the cute props and clothes you will need.

When is the best time for newborn photos?

Technically, a newborn is a baby under 14 days old. Thus, we love it if they can come to the studio in that time. But this is not always possible. We accept babies for newborn images up to 6 weeks old. There are some exceptions. Contact us about the specifics of your baby.

When is the best time for maternity portraits?

We recommend weeks 28 to 34. They can be done later in some women. Katie's maternity sessions are thorough and can take 2 hours. Thus, earlier in your pregnancy is usually better than later.

Do you have maternity gowns?

Yes. Our studio has a collection of gowns clients can use for their session. Katie's maternity sessions usually involve outfit changes. Planning clothing is done during your planning consultation.
