I wish it was easy just to have someone come in and get a “quick” headshot. Here’s the truth; there really is no such thing as a “basic” or “nothing special” headshot. You are coming to a professional so you can look your best. You want the images to do something for you. For that to happen takes skill and planning. During our pre-session consultation, you and I will discuss your goals for the images, clothes, makeup options and more. Then, during the session, I will provide guidance on posing and using props (if applicable).
High quality headshots make a huge difference in how well they help you meet your career goals. This investment will pay for itself many times over. It’s true you can have a friend take a cell phone pic, or an amateur take your headshot. But how will it stack up when employers or casting directors are looking at dozens or hundreds of headshot images? Maybe it will be ok. But why not start off with your best?
