Los Angeles Newborn Photographer

Katie Katsenis, Baby Photographer

Because by tomorrow, your newborn will have already changed.

Newborn Photography in Los Angeles

You Think You'll Remember Every Little Detail.

You won't.

Right now, your baby's tiny fingers wrap around yours. Their feet still have the wrinkles they had before they were born. They curl naturally against your chest and fall asleep in ways they never will again.

Those details change in days, not months.

As a newborn photographer serving Glendale, Pasadena, Burbank, and Los Angeles, my goal is to preserve those fleeting moments with timeless portraits your family will treasure for generations.

Every session is calm, unhurried, and completely centered around your baby's comfort and safety.

Why Professional Newborn Photography Matters

The newborn stage lasts only a few short weeks.

Many parents assume they'll remember every expression, every tiny feature, and every sleepy stretch. Almost every parent tells me later how surprised they were by how quickly those memories began to fade.

Professional newborn photography captures details that disappear almost overnight:

  • Tiny fingers and toes

  • Curled newborn poses

  • Delicate eyelashes

  • Soft peach fuzz

  • The way your baby fit perfectly in your arms

  • Your family's first portraits together

These photographs become part of your family's history.

Why Families Choose Panos Productions Photography

Choosing a newborn photographer is about far more than beautiful photographs.

You're trusting someone with your brand-new baby.

Parents throughout Glendale and Los Angeles choose my studio because they know every decision begins with one priority:

Your baby's safety.

As a Certified Professional Photographer specializing in newborn portraiture, every session follows a baby-led approach.

That means:

  • Sessions move at your baby's pace.

  • Feeding and soothing breaks are never rushed.

  • Every pose is guided by your baby's comfort.

  • Composite images are used whenever additional support is needed.

  • Your baby's well-being always comes before getting a particular photograph.

Beautiful portraits should never come at the expense of safety.

About Your Photographer

Before becoming a professional photographer, I spent nearly twenty years as a special education teacher.

That experience shaped the way I work with every family who walks into my studio.

Patience.

Observation.

Calm communication.

Understanding that every child is different.

Today I combine those skills with over a decade of newborn photography experience to create an experience that feels relaxed and supportive for both babies and parents.

A Fully Styled Studio Experience

The first weeks of parenthood are wonderfully exciting—and wonderfully exhausting.

That's why I provide nearly everything you'll need.

My studio includes:

  • Luxury wraps and blankets

  • Newborn outfits

  • Bonnets and headbands

  • Carefully selected props

  • Soft layers and baskets

  • Professional studio lighting designed specifically for newborn skin tones

You don't need to spend weeks shopping for newborn photography accessories.

Simply bring your baby.

I'll take care of the rest.

What Happens During Your Newborn Session?

Parents often wonder what to expect.

Every newborn photography session follows your baby's pace, but generally looks something like this:

Arrival

We'll spend a few minutes helping everyone settle into the studio.

Feeding

Most babies eat shortly after arriving. A full tummy helps babies relax and sleep more comfortably.

Baby-Led Portraits

Wrapped portraits often come first before gradually moving into additional poses, outfits, and setups depending on your baby's comfort.

Family Portraits

Parents and siblings are always welcome. These often become some of the most treasured photographs from the session.

Breaks

Need another feeding?

A diaper change?

Extra cuddles?

No problem.

The session moves at your baby's pace.

When Should You Book?

The best time to reserve your newborn session is during your third trimester.

Rather than scheduling a fixed date, I reserve space around your due date.

Once your baby arrives, we'll finalize the session date.

Most sleepy newborn portraits are photographed between 5 and 14 days after birth, although beautiful portraits are possible with older newborns as well.
